In our very nature, women are very giving and nurturing those to all around them.

However, when did you last make time to give a little nurturing and nourishment to yourself?

If it was today, then good for you!

If it was this week, then well done.

If you cannot remember when (probably most of you!)...then you seriously need some of that love and care that you lavish on everyone else.

Yes, I know you are busy, and it feels as though you cannot squeeze even an extra minute out of your day, but you will be surprised... even just taking 15 minutes for yourself, regularly, will create a much greater sense of well being.

Would you expect your car to run, day after day, if you did not stop to refill it with petrol, and oil?

Of course not! And yet you ask so much more of yourself.

Day after day, year after year, you run around caring for partners, children, family, friends, without ever stopping and refuelling.

There is the illusion that as a strong woman you should be able to keep on going without ever replenishing..isn't that what every one else is doing? And coping?

But to continue to be these strong powerful women that we all truly are, we need to honour and love ourselves as we would our own child.  You deserve this!

Commit to giving yourself 15 minutes every single day which is dedicated to nourishing yourself in whatever way you need in that moment.

Maybe you want to take a bath, or go for a brisk walk, maybe you want to sit in the garden watching the birds and squirrels, or to sit and read a book, maybe you want to have a chat with a friend, or just to sit and notice your breath. Whatever it is, try and be aware of your body and of this very moment...releasing all thoughts or worries of what the day might hold, or what has already happened.

Let this15 minutes create some space in your life. Allow your breath to soften, your mind to calm down, and your body to relax.

Indulge in these 15 minutes.

Then notice how much smoother life unfolds...

"I came to Ele in my first pregnancy, nervous and overdue by 6 days. I received

acupuncture as a natural and pain free alternative to being artificially induced. Ele's

treatment initiated my contractions within half an hour, and I left feeling very relaxed,

and confident in my ability to birth. I can't thank Ele enough for her support, and

would highly recommend acupuncture for induction, and general wellbeing throughout

pregnancy.”

Claire Macbride and baby Callum, Reigate

“I can't recommend Ele highly enough, she is so knowledgeable in her field and I trust

her implicitly. Recently she used her skill to help turn my baby the right way.

Kirsty Norton, Hove

“Ele Denman has been treating me for the past 7 months for general well being and,

initially, for fertility.  I've personally found Toyohari a very relaxing and painless

experience.  I would definitely say it is less invasive than other forms of acupuncture -

great if you are wary of needles.

I'm now 4 months pregnant and intend to continue the treatment as I find it to be a very

pleasant and gentle experience.”

Pauline Spittle, Reigate
